When modern parents shop for baby monitors today, they are forced to choose between two deeply flawed options:
Proprietary Closed Hardware
Bulky, expensive ($150–$300) hardware units with poor screen resolution, proprietary chargers, limited radio range, and no flexibility once your baby outgrows infancy.
Vulnerable Cloud Cameras
Modern "smart" nursery monitors that route private nursery video to external cloud servers, charge monthly subscriptions for playback, and are repeatedly exposed in security breaches.
We realized that almost every household already has the best hardware available: spare smartphones and tablets equipped with high-resolution cameras, fast Wi-Fi chips, and crystal-clear microphones. All that was missing was software designed with uncompromising security.

We believe your nursery should remain strictly private. Our architecture is built on peer-to-peer WebRTC. Your live video and audio are never recorded or stored in the cloud.
2. Sustainability & Hardware Reuse
Billions of functional smartphones and tablets sit forgotten in desk drawers. Baby Zzz's gives them a powerful second life, reducing electronic waste while saving families hundreds of dollars.
3. Transparent Security
We use industry-standard WebRTC protocols (DTLS-SRTP encryption), secure authentication via Keycloak, and encrypted local storage. What you see is what you get—no hidden data harvesting.
